Who we are
Trash2Treasure is a student-run sustainability organization at Northeastern University. Our mission is simple: reduce waste on campus through education and sustainability programs.
Our signature programs
Collection and Sale serve the community through a circular economy model turning “Trash” into “Treasure”.
Collection is an opportunity for students to drop unwanted items during move-out week in our big red bins instead of the trash.
Sale is an opportunity for students to shop sustainably and purchase these secondhand items at the beginning of the following semester.
Volunteers make our event possible! Student organizations can volunteer with us as a fundraising and community service opportunity. The profits from Sale are distributed amongst our volunteering organizations.
